Famous examples of perspective in Art.

Linear Perspective
1 Point Perspective: Where the receding edges of shapes appear to vanish into a single 'vanishing point' in the distance.

Any set of parallel lines when seen from enough distance will seem to grow closer together until they disappear at what is known as the "Vanishing Point".

Atmospheric or Aerial Perspective:
Where colours seem to fade to a paler hue when viewed from a distance during the day.Notice how the mountains in the distance in the photo below seem to be paler colours.
